Children's interests:

Making dens & exploring the new tepee, playing hide and seek, playing what time is it Mr Wolf?, having running races, playing football & catch, sweeping leaves, hula hoops, cutting with scissors & sticking, sea creatures , making sweets, junk modelling, playing with trains, airports, wooden community blocks, wanting the slide putting out.

Role-play- pretending to be dogs & cats, hairdressers, pirates, sharks, superheroes

Adult support given with identifying emotions (sad, happy, angry, what should we do or say)

Model how to use intelligent materials

Making dog bones (following on from dog role-play)

Extending thinking by creating rock pools in water table (looking at sea books)

playing Monster snap (taking turns )
