The spring sunshine saw the children involved in a variety of activities:

In the outdoor space the children were:building "dinosaurs dens", creating steam trains, making swamps for dinosaurs, painting names in the sun and watch them disappear in the sunshine, face painting, mixing in the mud kitchen, finding treasure using maps, chalking numbers & other mark making, mixing paints, using hula hoops.

Indoor play was just as busy with children: using junk modelling to build tractors, printing animal tracks, using the measuring box, very interested in the sand timers, studying frogspawn & looking at life-cycle of a frog, exploring melting icebergs with warm water/salt, guessing the sound game, number recognition, wooden shape sorter, looking at animal magazines and completing animal jigsaws (matching animals).
