The circle of life...

...was explored in various ways this week with children curious about how frogs grow and how seeds turn into flowers. So we made frogspawn gloop (using seeds, water and cornflour), planted sunflower seeds and looked at books on nature.

A big favourite with the children was the electronic matching games; as well as playing snap card games and memory games, doing jigsaws, building big houses and sand castles outside, fixing bikes in the garage, obeying traffic lights, blowing bubbles, practicing scissor skills and running stopwatch races. We enjoyed story sacks, marble run, painting/printing, playing pirates, drawing butterflies, mosaic shapes and tap-a-shape.
