The children's interests took many directions this week with treasure maps being drawn by pirates to find treasure, bug hotels being built for giant insects, singing sessions with instruments, dens and walkways constructed, exploring number blocks and finding numbers hidden around the garden, going to the seaside in a campervan, mixing chalk and water, making spider webs using matchsticks and wool, printing with textured pads, cooking with ginger and beanbag throwing competitions.

This week we also found out which schools the children will be attending in September. To support the children with this transition period we have made some adjustments in our morning routines to foster children's independence.
