Getting funded childcare hours can reduce the amount you have to spend on childcare. Its availability and the number of hours on offer can vary according to the age of your child. This can appear a little complicated at first, but generally speaking in the UK, the minimum available will be 15 hours a week for three and four-year-olds. For some working parents it can be as much as 30 hours, and for some claiming certain benefits or working funded hours can be available from the age of two.

If you are taking up more than 15 hours with us or elsewhere you will need to apply for your 30 hour (working families) code every 3 months. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid code in order to receive your child’s place www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Places are funded at £5.31/hour; though our hourly rate is £6.50, there will be no extra cost to you.

Any extra hours that are not covered by your child's funding will be charged at our advertised hourly rate. This will be clearly shown on your half termly invoice. 

We provide fruit, cereal, milk and water every session at no cost to you.

It is not necessary to send any snack to Preschool. 

If your child attends a morning session you may opt for them to stay for lunch too, bringing a healthy packed lunch in a named bag.

If your child stays for lunch we recommend that you place a cool block/icepack inside their lunchbox. 

Meat and dairy products begin to deteriorate once removed from the refrigerator and should be kept below 5 degrees.

We all eat our packed lunches together so please don't include any products containing nuts.

Please check labels on the foods you put into lunch boxes. THINGS TO AVOID: cereal bars, Nutella and peanut butter are obvious foods but others may contain nuts - if in doubt please do not send them in lunch boxes.

Please provide your own nappies & wipes in a named bag along with a complete change of clothes.
