We celebrated Chinese New Year by exploring various aspects such as customs, clothes, music & food. The children have included amongst their role-play themes: hairdressers, ninja turtle superheroes, pantomimes, camping, running a fruit and veg shop.

Lots of jigsaws and puzzle games such as alphabet dinosaur, matching finger numbers, matching colours, matching letter sounds to pictures. Matching games on the computer too.

Mark making has been popular too and has included drawing faces, mermaids, turtles, puffer fish. Some children have been attempting to write their names on their artwork.

Lots of imaginary play with small world toys like dinosaurs and farm animals.

Building bridges, playing skittles & What time is it Mr Wolf?
