The saying goes that “variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavour” and the children definitely packed in lots of interests and activities this week:

Tasting new fruits after we read Handa's Surprise story, making "pasta and roast potatoes" in the mud kitchen, creating pizza's using playdoh, learning how a pearl is made, going fishing and learning different names of fish, decorating haunted houses, jigsaws, creating firework pictures, exploring spirals, bird watching, making traps to catch monsters, designing princess dresses, blowing bubbles, naming bones in the body, building houses, stilt walking and celebrating birthdays.

The most read book and song sung was "Ten in the bed"!
