This week saw a strong interest in anything to do with either Christmas or dinosaurs!

Children decorated the wooden house in outdoor area, wrapped presents, rode on a "sleigh", took turns to be Santa's and reindeer, delivered presents, wrote Christmas letters and cards, decorated the little Christmas tree, played the Santa board game, Santa snap card game and made festive decorations.

However other interests included: dinosaur eggs (made out of green playdough or chalk rocks), dinosaur stencils, dinosaur books and magazines, building rockets and towers, playing with Lego, exploring which animals lived in polar regions, creating a variety of bugs, creating huge paintings and other mark making outside, building dens, role-play with garages and doctor surgeries.

Finally we ended the week by practising all our songs for our crib service in Church next Friday.
