...drawing dinosaurs, making models of dinosaurs, digging ice and snow, doctor role-play & "doing homework".

The weather did not put a stop to exploring and playing with children creating artic environments for small world animals, measuring & weighing snow, cooking in the mud kitchen and selling ice from the shop!

There were plenty of opportunities for children to strengthen their self-care skills with putting boots, gloves & coats on independently.

Plenty of activities took place indoors as well:

marble-run, colour matching jigsaws, "Going on a Bear Hunt" story and drawings, telling the time, lots of painting, playdough monsters with lots of eyes, tap-a-shape, matching shapes...
