... after the Easter break saw the children spring into action with a whole host of activities and creativity.

Lots of mark making with paints, water, chalk and pencils. Many children wanted to experiment with mixing colours and creating different shades as well as embellishing their work with jewels.

There were cooks in the mud kitchen and engineers at the water table channeling water using various methods.

Role-play included McDonald's drive through, police officers, builders, archaeologists, feeding the baby dolls and visiting the doctors. Crowns were made for the ice queens and princesses.

The lovely sunshine meant we kicked off our shoes to paddle in the water tray, blow bubbles and make bubble pictures. The garden is springing into life and the children discovered that the new bamboo shoots were hairy!
