From sandcastles, dog "houses", swimming pools and trains...
... to obstacle courses, tall towers and cardboard robots; it's been a really busy building week!
Plenty of mark making too with chalk (dinosaur tracks), paint, pencils, felt tips and feathers (quills). Indeed the children came up with the idea they wanted to make "slime" so were encouraged to write their own recipes before getting creative.
We were also lucky to have some little visitors arrive for a short stay in the form of tadpoles which is still a favourite topic.
With the weather turning slightly more spring-like we filled up the water table outside and the children were encouraged to add natural things we find in the sea (no plastic allowed!)
