... as we set sail on a new term and new adventures. The children new to the setting have been exploring all aspects of Noah's Ark; so here we go...

Some new resources bought over the summer break meant we could create different environments on Tuff trays.

Staff supported the children with routine and behavioural boundaries as well as nurturing budding new friendships between individuals.

Role-play included hairdressers, mechanics, selling ice-cream, going on a bear hunt, shop keepers and being doctors. There were lots of opportunities for mark making in sand, with water, chalk, paint and playdough.

As children's confidence grew they chose to play with jigsaws, marble-run, train track and trains, dinosaurs, musical instruments, hula hoops and join in with hide and seek game and What time is it Mr Wolf?
