The beginning of a new term saw the team welcoming in new children to the setting and returning children from last year.

A couple of weeks in and we have seen the children exploring their environment, creating friendships, making connections and settling into their new routines.

All areas have been accessed with lots of cooking in the mud kitchen, building in the sandpit, testing balancing skills, climbing, scissor skills, mixing paint, mark making, role-play, water play, singing and listening to lots of stories.

During the summer break the staff reinvigorated the learning environment by adding new resources. We used some of our fundraising money to buy a builder's shed and a sand equipment store making the areas much more appealing and which have grabbed the children's imaginations as you can see by the photographs.
