Role-play has been a firm favourite with the children recently with scenarios being played out with doctors, nurses and firefighters. We have also had painters and decorators, ice-cream vendors, pirates, mechanics and car wash attendants.

The weather has been very variable this week as have the activities that the children enjoyed.

Interests have included animal habitats, building with lots of different materials both inside and out, experimenting with paint, making and flying kites, measuring liquids, mark making, listening to stories and solving puzzles.

Some children have been bringing in items they have discovered on their way to Noah's Ark like conkers, acorns and leaves. Our kindness tree has also gained more leaves, with staff placing leaves on the tree to represent the children's acts of kindness, perseverance and achievements.
