All the snow and ice that accumulated in our outdoor area provided us with lots of opportunities to explore, get creative and problem solve. Why did the stones get trapped in the ice? How can we get them out? What happens if we....? Luckily we had some superheroes with special powers who were on hand to help anyone or anything that was trapped in the ice and needed rescuing!

Colour filled pipettes and squeezey bottles made beautiful patterns in the medium that nature had provided and of course we couldn't pass up the chance of making a snowman.

We even brought ice inside which enhanced our story of Little Mo the polar bear who didn't give up trying to learn to ice skate.
